During my final year of studying homeopathy, I completed a dissertation on the naturopathic and homeopathic treatment of Candida overgrowth. Thrush is a common symptom associated with Candida overgrowth.
As a long-term sufferer of Candida myself, I experimented with many of the treatments and products recommended in books and on the internet. From this I devised my own programme which I individualise for each patient and combine homeopathy with supplements, where appropriate.

I don't believe that anyone should feel worse during treatment (many programmes discuss a worsening of symptoms as the yeast overgrowth dies off), so aim for a gentle but effective approach.
Symptoms of Candida overgrowth
The most common symptoms are one or a combination of, the following:
• Fungal infections - in particular thrush of any type, athletes foot and jock itch
• Digestive problems - most commonly bloating, particularly after eating bread or other yeasty food. Also pains in the abdomen, constipation and/or diarrhoea.
• Food cravings - in particular for sugary and yeasty foods
• Allergies - in particular to environmental factors such as animal fur, hayfever, dust mites as well as various foods
• Menstrual problems, lethargy, joint pain and ear, nose and throat problems may indicate Candida overgrowth if other symptoms are also present.
Have I got Candida?
The homeopathic consultation includes a comprehensive case-taking, and this is usually sufficient to assess whether you have Candida.
