Juicing can be a very effective way to boost energy by increasing your consumption of fruit and veg. If you want to give juicing a try you can buy a juicer for around £30 at a high street electrical retailer. You can use any fruit and vegetables, although leafy veg can be a bit tricky.
One of my favourite juices is:
Apple (2 or 3 depending on size)
Carrot (1 or 3 depending on size)
Ginger (about an inch)
Non organic carrots should be peeled and the top removed. Cut in half longways and juice. Slice apples into segments and peel the ginger. If you like beetroot, you can add a small raw washed beetroot too. (Your urine may become pink – don’t panic!)
If you clean the metal part of the juicer immediately you have juiced, the cleaning is much easier. Drink your juice within 30 minutes of making it, and ideally ‘chew’ your juice (swill it around your mouth) for maximum digestive impact.
After a few days of just one juice a day, you will feel notice that you have more energy and feel and look great!
